Information & Registry for Non-Credit Group Travel program participants
All participants (including community members unaffiliated with UK) who participate on non-credit group travel programs are required to register their travel through the UK International Center. Registration allows UK to liaise with participants overseas during emergency situations, and ensures that participants receive relevant information and updates from the University.
All registered participants on these programs (students, faculty, staff and community members) will be covered under UK's international travel medical insurance and evacuation policy. Student participants on such programs will be billed for coverage at $10.50 per week, billed in weekly increments. Students on group travel programs with 5 or more student participants will automatically be billed a non-refundable Risk Management fee ($50).
Participants on non-credit group international travel programs should register their travel here:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before departure, all travelers should take the time to review the International Health, Safety & Security Handbook for non-credit programs abroad. It contains information that should be helpful to both new and experienced travelers. Any questions about material presented in the handbook should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
